Isepfu iterwa no kuzamura umwuka, wagera ku mutemeri w’igifu (cardia) ukagongana n’intango y’umuhogo (diaphragme –akanyama gashashe gatandukanya inyama zo mu nda n’izo mu gituza), uwo mubyigano ugatuma habaho kubura uko umwuka utambuka, umuntu agasepfura.

Dr. Kanimba Pierre Célestin, umuyobozi w’ivuriro ‘ Polyclinique la Médicale’ avuga ko abagore batwite n’abana bato cyo kimwe n’ingimbi bari mu byiciro bikunze kwibasirwa n’isepfu ariko ko iyo umubyeyi abicunze neza ntareke umwana ngo yiharire inkongoro, akamuhagarika igihe abona afite ubusambo ngo byafasha umwana.

Ni ryari isepfu iba uburwayi

Dr. Kanimba yagaragaje igihe isepfu iba uburwayi, bikaba ngombwa ko umuntu ajya kwa muganga kwivuza. Yagize ati: “Nta bwo navuga ko isepfu ari indwara ariko ishobora no kuba yo, kuko isepfu ifite ubwoko butatu, hari isepfu umuntu agira akanya gato. Hari iyo agira ikamara umwanya ariko ikaza no kugenda. Hari n’imara igihe kirekire, iyo ugeze kwa muganga ibyo bibazo barabikubaza, bitewe n’igihe iyo sepfu imara rimwe na rimwe ishobora no kuba indwara, bitavuga ko ari yo ndwara ubwayo ahubwo ifite impamvu iyitera.”

Akomeza avuga ko isepfu yoroheje iterwa n’umuntu ugenda akabona ibinyobwa byiza, bikamuryohera akanywa byinshi, igifu kikuzura, agatangira kugira isepfu ndetse rimwe na rimwe akenda kuruka. Gusa ngo iyo ntitinda.

Yagize ati: “Ibiryo buriya bigira umwanya bimara mu nda, iyo bigabanutse isepfu iragenda, iyo iroroshye, ariko iyo imaze icyumweru kirenga abaganga barashakisha bakamenya aho byaba bituruka.”

Avuga ko iyo umuntu abonye bitinze aribwo ajya kwa muganga.

Yagize ati: “Iyo ubonye bitinze ushakisha niba yaba afite ibibyimba mu gifu cyangwa mu muhogo, ukanareba niba adafite ikibazo mu gituza ubwacyo, igituma imihumekere itagenda neza cyangwa niba umugore adatwite kuko rimwe na rimwe uko inda isunika igifu hari ubwo abagore bagira agasepfu.”

Mu birebana no kwirinda isepfu avuga ko umuntu agerageza kurya ibiryo bikwiye, igifu ntacyuzuze, iyo acyujuje ahura n’ibibazo cyangwa kunywa ibinyobwa bikwiye.

Ati: “Niba wanywaga itabi, ukarireka cyangwa inzoga, uvuye ahantu hashyushye ugahita unywa ibintu bikonje cyane bitera isepfu, ukanirinda ibintu biteza stress.”

Ku bana, umubyeyi agena uburyo anywamo butamuteza isepfu, amurinda kugotomera ntafatire ibintu byose icyarimwe kuko isepfu ibabaza umwana cyane.

Dr. Kanimba avuga ko hari abashyira agapapuro ku gahanga batekereza ko indwara y’isepfu ikira, abandi bakanywa amazi bamwe ikagenda abandi ntigende.

Yagize ati: “Nubwo umuntu azana isepfu, hari imiti itangwa no kwa muganga, imiti imusinziriza ho gatoya, agakanguka ya sepfu yagiye, cyangwa akanywa imiti y’isepfu.”

Avuga ko iyo umuntu ari kumwe n’uri gusepfura, ashobora kumukuyakuya (massage) isepfu ikagenda, kuko hari ubwo imitsi iba idakora neza, cyangwa kumuha amazi akanywa.

Yagize ati : “Isepfu ibangamira guhumeka k’uyirwaye. Ese ishobora guhitana uyirwaye? Birashoboka kuko igihe cyose imikaya yo mu buhumekero ariyo iba ihura n’ibibazo. Nta gitangaza ko nabyo byabaho ariko kenshi Ntibibaho uretse ko isepfu itinze ibuza kurya no kunywa igatuma rimwe na rimwe umuntu aruka, yaruka bikanyura mu nzira zitari zo.”

Mu birebana no kwandura isepfu ngo hari ubwo ingimbi n’abangavu bari mu kigero kimwe mu myaka 15 cyangwa 16 binyuze mu mitekerereze yabo banduzanya isepfu.

Yagize ati: “Iyo bitinze, ugatindana isepfu, birabanza bikabangamira kubana n’abandi, ntubasha gukora imirimo yawe wari usanzwe ukora, ntubasha kurya bityo bikazana  ibindi bibazo biguteza kugira intege nke.”

Avuga ko abagore batwite ari cyo kiciro cy’abantu bakunze kwibasirwa no gusepfura cyo kimwe n’abana bato ariko iyo umubyeyi abicunze neza ntamureke ngo yiharire inkongoro, akamuhagarika igihe abona afite ubusambo.

Isepfu iri mu bwoko butatu butandukanye

Avuga ko isepfu iri mu bwoko butatu butandukanye, hari isepfu y’akanya gato, hari isepfu ishobora gutinda, hari n’isepfu imara igihe, ese ni ryari umuntu akwiriye kujya kwivuza muganga.

Dr. Kanimba avuga ko iyo umuntu abona isepfu ayimaranye icyumweru atazi ikiri kuyitera ari byiza ko yihutira  kujya kwa muganga.

Inama zitandukanye

Abantu bagirwa inama y’uburyo bashobora gufata umwanya uhagije kugira ngo bage barya batuje, n’ibyo kunywa bakabinywa mu bwitonzi.

Yagize ati: “Si byiza kugotomera amazi. Niba uri umukinnyi w’umupira cyangwa niba wakoze siporo itondere cya gihe uba ubira ibyuya ngo uhite unywa amazi akonje cyane  kuko nayo yayigutera.”

Kureka inzoga n’itabi ku bantu barwaye isepfu.

Yagize ati: “Twagize amahirwe mu turere twose harimo ibitaro, hari ibigo nderabuzima hirya no hino, byaba ngombwa ukaba wanagana ibitaro by’ikitegerererezo ukavurwa.”
